How can you not like Doom 2016 if you like old school shooters. The new doom is a callback to all the features that made old school shooting great. It has very fast paced action, no need to aim down sight (ads only if you want special gun features), great AI and enemy variation, a kickass soundtrack that really gets you into the mood, infinte sprint (or set speed), and a story that is so over the top in a good way that it feels like a john wick movie where the primary focus is the action

Played DN3D, Doom 1,2, Hexen, Heretic and so on... DOOM 2016 is really good, it gives much needed kick in the balls to other FPS. Music, gameplay, story, entire idea of properly written doom slayer fits into a franchise that tickles our happy side well enough... which is getting harder to tick when you have ""amazing"" products like: 1) Mass Effect Andromeda and its top notch animations. 2) Battlefield and its obvious accuracy. 3) Anthem and its... well... undisputed excellence and dominance over warframe and destiny. and others that fail to recognize importance of our experience for the price they ask.
